College

It was my first day of college today and I was a bit scared by the fact I didnt know anyone there and that i'd be by myself for the next 4 years. At the introduction speech various people affiliated with the college talked about different things and nearly all of them put emphasis on getting to know people and taking the initiative to just go up and talk to people and thats what I did. The people were very friendly and open which surprised me as most people are not like this, but it just shows you if you're the one who takes the first steps into getting to know someone and appear positive you get a positive response back and could become your next best friend!

    The first day is pretty important, the friends you make now can be the ones you have all college. Cliques are made in a day.

    is very easy to make new friends if you want, everyone is in the same posittion as you, with one thing in mind...meeting new people! so chill and try to stick with the ones you see are alike

    I go to a local college so I had the luxury of knowing a few people when i started a few years ago. Join clubs, get to know people, party it up. And smile at people on the sidewalk, you'd be surprised at how many smile back.

    I hope you had a great first day. I didn't go to a conventional college, but I still had a very prolific experience with my peers in repairing computers.
