College

When I first started college I thought it would be really easy and loads of crazy parties and just generally a laid back few years but to my horror it is a lot of work..a lot more than secondary school (high school). The movies lied to us! It  is true what they say then you work harder in college than you did in school and you work harder at your job than you did in college!

  1. The party thing is true. But it's way tougher than high school. I don't know who gave you the idea that college was a cakewalk

  3. College is a cakewalk if you're studying to be a baker.

  4. it depends what you get, some get parties, some get work, some learn, some get drunk. you know... luck is the sexy devil

  6. It depends on what you're doing there, a friend of mine is doing a course so intensive she thinks she'll be lucky to survive it, let alone fit in some party timez.

  7. Keep on going! Eventually it's going to finish sooner or later. Perhaps some party every now and then.

  9. It's a lot of work but there are plenty of parties to be had if you know where to look.

  10. It really depends on your focus man, if your there to party till you drop out then it can be a lot of fun, if you actually want an education then yah parties every night are probably a good way to fail

  12. i totally slacked off in college and it was party time all the time for me. Guess that's why I flunked out after a year. Had a great time though.

  17. It also depends on how many classes you get... And whether they're online or not. I've got three online classes this semester and I'm loving it.

  18. Very cynical but true buddy. You can have a lot of fun in college but that doesn't mean there's no work involved during the year.

  21. College can be a cakewalk, personally I don't think college is needed at all, it will not help you find a job. That photo is famous.

  22. Doing enough work to get a 2.0 in college is easy, but yeah, its no cake walk to succeed at it.

  23. I think of the crazy partying as a reward to my hard work ethic.

  24. If you work really hard in college you can get a job thats easy!

  27. So far i've been doing a couple of assigments in college. Not too hard.

  28. Well yeah if you don't work hard in college then before you know it you turn into a supersenior. But will these years in the end, be wasted or not ?

  29. God how I wish college had been like that picture. If you treat college like Hollywood depicts it you'll probably last about one semester. But as far as your job being harder than college that is not necessarily the case. There's no reason you can't find some chill job that pays 50-60 thousand USD a year. But if you really want to make big money then yes, it's going to be worse.

    How could that ever happen?!

  31. For me the harder I worked in college the better I have done in my life. I wish it wouldn't seem like a fun party because it can be overwhelming.

  32. Nah, it's alright. Just have to lower your expectations as far as partying goes, if you want to manage your studies, that is.
